In the pharmaceutical and food industry, production environments are very demanding and the seals used must meet many prerequisites. Only high quality products can provide optimal sealing solutions.
In this sector the aspect of primary importance regards the interactions between the products to be waterproofed and disinfectants, which are very aggressive. Therefore the seals used must resist contact with fatty fluids, water for injections, steam sterilization, aromatic substances or ethereal oils.
The standards and approvals for the pharmaceutical and food environment are very strict: no other sector has equally demanding requirements. Compliance with FDA, USP, 3-A Sanitary Standard 18-03, CIP certification, SIP test, WFI water test and EU directive 1935/2004 is required.
